Lóma was born from movement and from the feeling that we could build something bigger, together. It's a family story that’s growing into a brand and a community.

I grew up dancing and now I'm having a full circle moment as I watch my daughter take to the stage. With my background in fashion buying and e-commerce, I wanted to create an athleisure brand for Irish Dancers which is cool enough for everyday but also perfect for putting the work in at class (we know all too well that those drills require maximum comfort and breathability).

But Lóma isn’t just about us. It’s about you, the dancers, the dreamers and the supporters who know that belonging, showing up, and moving together is where it’s at!

I stumbled upon the name Lóma when trying to name the brand. It’s derived from the Irish word, glómaire, which means performer and it feels like the perfect fit for who we are. It's more than a brand, Lóma is a joint story. A crew. A place to feel at home, whether you’re a beginner or perform on the world stage, there's a place for everyone here.
